Step Up Your Sock Game: A Review of Yarnsmiths Merino Sock and Merino Sock Prints Anyone that knows me, knows how much I love sock yarn. My yarn stash has at least 2 crates of it, but funnily enough I've never actually made a pair of socks (shame on me!). I did try once but I got a raging case of one sock syndrome. After spending hours faffing around on double pointed needles for the first one, I just didn't have the motivation to make another. Perhaps I should try crochet ones next time... I do love using sock yarn for scarves and shawls though. I love to work with real wool but it's often out of my price range, so sock yarn is a great option for me.
