Belated Temperature Blanket Update - The end of summer...

So I'm a little late with this one, OK a lot late, but better late than never right?  I have been very busy catching up with my temperature blanket over the last few days.  I have set myself a minimum of 10 rows a day in order to catch up and have now reached the end of summer, so thought I would share my progress with you.

If you would like to make a temperature blanket, you can find the

I love the summer colours, especially now that the weather is cooler, it's a reminder of those warmer days spent in the sunshine...

A little look at all the colours together so far...

We are definitely on the home stretch now and I can't wait to see it finished.

I am even more excited to be starting a new temperature blanket and crochet along next year.  I will be posting the new pattern at the weekend, so make sure you are subscribed and don't miss it.

See you all soon...

    1. Thanks Sandra. It is only a small amount each day and if you manage to stick to that it's great. The problems happen when you miss a big chunk out and have to catch up.

  2. Catherine, the colors you've chosen for your temperature blanket are just beautiful together. And I think the linen stitch is a perfect stitch for this project. Way to go - getting caught up! You're going to be thrilled with it when it's finished!

    1. Perhaps you will have better luck this year, or you could try a scarf or shawl. That might be less of a commitment...

  4. I love the stitch you've used for this blanket. I'm thinking of starting one this year, using colors that go with my decor (not a fan of rainbow really) and I was wondering... how long do you think the finished project will be? What I mean is, is this a throw blanket for the sofa or more of a bed blanket? Thanks in advance

    1. The finished blanket with this stitch, using DK yarn and 4mm hook, will be around single bed length. This will vary a little depending on your tension also...
