2020 Spring Scarves & Shawls Roundup - Celebrate spring and make one of these gorgeous lightweight scarves or shawls...

Although the winter has been pretty mild here in Windsor, I think we can really feel the beginning of spring.  The the trees are trimmed with pink blossom and the golden daffodils are bobbing their pretty trumpets in the breeze.  The temperature has also risen too and the sun has been shining, tempting us to take off our coats.

With the weather warming, it's time to switch to more lightweight accessories, so I thought I would take a look at scarves and shawls, perfect for spring.  Here are the ones I picked out by my favourite designers...

The first is this pretty shawl by Pattern Princess.  She uses a cotton blend yarn, making it a perfect accessory for spring and if you have a whole day to yourself to crochet, can be made in only 8 hours.

8 Hour Cabana Shawl

This infinity scarf is a great addition to your spring wardrobe.  Wear it loose on warmer days and double wrap it on cooler ones.  Crocheted in lovely colourful cottons, pattern by Dora Does.

Leap Year Infinity Scarf

Another pattern by Dora Does, this stunning spring shawl.

Perceptions Triangle Scarf

I love this pretty in pink scarf by Golden Lucy Crafts.  The tiny flowers are just adorable.

Spring Blossom Scarf

Another simple yet elegant shawl pattern.  It can be worn both over the shoulders as a traditional shawl or bandana style like a scarf.  Pattern by Knitting With Chopsticks.

Gathering Driftwood Shawl

Shawls really are perfect for spring, they add just the right amount of warmth and a splash of colour.  This lacy pattern is by Annie Design Crochet.

One Skein Crochet Shawl

Crochet flower garlands are so pretty and fun to make but I never thought of wearing them before.  What an original design by Crafty Kitty Crochet.

Cherry Blossom Scarf

My last choice is another design by Dora Does.  The yarn is incredibly pretty and sets of this simple scarf pattern perfectly.

Expansion Scarf

I do hope you found some inspiration here and will visit my featured designers.  Which is your favourite?  Let me know in the comments below...

Pint it for later...

I will be back soon with more crochet to share with you.  Bye for now...
