Silt Stitch Crochet Tutorial – A Beautifully Textured Stitch
I love trying out new stitches and I especially love easy simple patterns like this. The silt stitch is a simple one-row repeat that looks the same on both sides, making it ideal for a wide range of projects including blankets, scarves, hats, and mittens.

Helpful Tip
The silt stitch is easy to keep consistent because each single crochet stacks on a single crochet and each double crochet stacks on a double crochet from the row below. This makes it simple to maintain the pattern as you work.
If you’d like to see this stitch used in a full project, leave a comment letting me know what you’d like to see – a scarf, hat, or something else. I love hearing your ideas and it helps me create tutorials you’ll enjoy.
