Hello everyone, well hasn't this month been a busy one.  We have started not one but two CAL's, and another one is on the way.  I will post more details about the next CAL in a later post.  I have also been trying to finish up last year's temperature blanket and been taking part in other CAL's and KAL's over at Ravelry, and not only that but also working on new pattern designs.  I have something coming up very soon for Valentine's too... Hello friends, this week for the Christmas craft along, I have updated another old pattern.  You can find the original pattern here...   This mini hot water bottle cover, makes a wonderful quick and easy, last minute gift.  I'm sure there is someone you know, who would love one of these. Mini Hottie Materials   1, 50g ball Drops Eskimo or any other yarn with similar gauge  500ml hot water bottle Stitch marker Needles 8mm dpn's or circular needles (using magic loop method). 7mm dpn's or circular needles Ability    Beginner who is familiar  with working in the round Size Fits 500ml hot water bottle Gauge 10 x 10 cm = 11sts x 15 rows in stocking stitch Abbreviations k - knit k2tog - knit 2 together st(s) - stitch(s) ssk - slip, slip, knit pm - place marker Special Stitches 2x2  rib - [k2, p2] Other notes:  This project will use an entire ball of yarn, if your gauge is not spot on

This morning whilst drinking my morning tea, I heard a big plop as the postman pushed something through my letterbox.  Little T rushed to fetch it for me, it was this month's copy of Let's Knit Magazine.  I excitedly leafed through the pages to find the one I was looking for.  One of my patterns has been featured in a quick knits for Christmas article.  This is the first time any of my patterns or work has been mentioned in a magazine and as I'm sure you will understand this was super exciting for me.
