Hi everyone, we all need a little crochet to stop us from going stir crazy during this time.  So I have conjured up ten quick and easy projects that will put a smile on your face. The instant gratification of small projects always cheers me up no matter how I am feeling and I am sure we can all do with some colourful, crochet cheeriness right now.  The patterns are all free and have been selected by my favourite designers, I hope you find something you like. Happy Crochet 10 Quick & Easy Projects This first project is by my good friend Marjan of Atelier Marie-Lucienne and aren't these guys just adorable.  There is no way you could not have a smile on your face while crocheting up these cute little critters. Crochet Ladybirds If you are feeling a little glum, then this gorgeously, colourful, daisy, bunting will certainly cheer you up.  Crochet up a rainbow and hang it in your window and spread the cheeriness.  The pattern is by Crochet Clou

Although the winter has been pretty mild here in Windsor, I think we can really feel the beginning of spring.  The the trees are trimmed with pink blossom and the golden daffodils are bobbing their pretty trumpets in the breeze.  The temperature has also risen too and the sun has been shining, tempting us to take off our coats. With the weather warming, it's time to switch to more lightweight accessories, so I thought I would take a look at scarves and shawls, perfect for spring.  Here are the ones I picked out by my favourite designers... The first is this pretty shawl by Pattern Princess.  She uses a cotton blend yarn, making it a perfect accessory for spring and if you have a whole day to yourself to crochet, can be made in only 8 hours. 8 Hour Cabana Shawl This infinity scarf is a great addition to your spring wardrobe.  Wear it loose on warmer days and double wrap it on cooler ones.  Crocheted in lovely colourful cottons, pattern by Dora Does. The weather recently has been very cold and misty in the mornings and  I have been so glad to have had a nice cosy scarf on, to keep the frosty air out.  So I thought it would be a good time to do another crochet roundup.  We all need a nice snuggly scarf to keep us warm at this time of year and I have found some wonderful patterns to share with you. My first choice is by Amanda at Loops And Love Crochet.  She uses Caron Cakes yarn to create this lovely colour block effect.  The two ends of the scarf are sewn together, turning one long strip into an infinity scarf.  This is a fantastic pattern for newbie crocheters, especially as the yarn does all the work for you.   Criss Cross Stitch Infinity Scarf This would be a great scarf to make for that man in your life.  I love the mustard and grey combination used here and the interesting texture.  You can find the pattern at Crochet Cloudberry.
