Simple Scarf - Part of the Charity Stash Bash crochet along...

Image
Hello everyone, it is time for our next pattern in the Charity Stash Bash CAL.  This month we have a crochet scarf designed for absolute beginners.  It's a quick and easy pattern and matches the Basic Beanies that we made at the start of the year. This pattern is also being featured as part of the Crochet for a Cause CAL and as such, the pdf version will be available to download for free for one week, starting Monday 17th July.   Each Monday during the event, two designers will make their pattern available to download free. Their pattern will be free for one week only so be sure to check back every Monday.  You can find more information about the cause and links to the  free patterns here... All designers will be sharing hat and scarf patterns with the aim of donating them to your local homeless shelter, school, cancer centre or pregnancy resource centre.  This coming Monday it is my turn to share a pattern and you will be able to download the pdf for my  Simple Scarf

This pattern is crocheted entirely in Wattle Stitch.  I love the texture and it is so quick and easy to make.  A beginner crocheter can easily follow this pattern and if these colours aren't your cup of tea, it would look great in so many other colour combinations.  Just pick 3 colours you love for a colour block effect or you could even use a self striping or cake yarn.  This blanket here is also another quick and easy make. Now this pattern was originaly designed as a baby blanket and the previous one was gifted to my brothers son when he was a baby, but what if you don't want
